About
APV Films
APV Films are the foremost producers of instructional
art films in the UK, with many years experience working on productions
for release on DVD, video and broadcast television, films for the
Royal Academy of Art and the Arts Council of Great Britain.
Formed by Anthony Parker in 1985, APV Films have specialised
in producing films with some of the most outstanding painters of their
generation. Inviting the artists to share their favourite locations,
they film all over the world from the Cotswolds to the Australian
outback.
Renowned for high quality productions, APV Films work
with a small, dedicated and experienced crew. They film in extremes
of climate and terrain as well as in the artists' studio to produce
a collection of programmes that appeal to all painters, whether amateur
or professional.
The films have received strong critical acclaim from
both the art press and the general public.
